An administrator since 1991, John brings unique qualities to The Springs, having over 30 years of experience as a Registered Nurse. During that time, he also spent three years as Director of Rehabilitation Services at SW Regional Hospital in Ft. Myers. John joined us with five years as a corporate trouble shooter in the Florida health care system. He also currently holds the title of President of the Florida Health Care Association, District 6.

Linda McCann, RN

Linda is a diplomaed RN with over 31 years of experience. During that time Linda spent 10 years as a recovery room/ICU nurse in a trauma hospital. She also has five years of experience as an IV resource nurse which included giving chemotherapy, PICC insertion and IV insertions for all age groups. Linda has over 16 years of experience in the long-term care setting with 11 of those years as Director of Nursing.

Anne, a Florida native, is a 2004 graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University in Ft. Myers with a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy and a Baccalaureate in Health Administration, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She has also been a licensed massage therapist for over 15 years and a certified sports therapist for over 10 years. Anne comes to us with over 17 years of managerial experience from a prior career.

Lorraine has been with The Springs for 19 years having filled many positions including Human Resources, Chelsey Unit Manager and floor nurse. Lorraine's well-rounded experience makes assisting patients in transition and their families comfortable. Lorraine has also developed our Concierge Service program to assist during the transition period.

Rosemary Vaccaro, RN, BSN, MSN

Rosemary is experienced in critical-care nursing in ERs, ICUs, CCUs and Med-Surg units of major metropolitan hospitals. She has also worked overseas as a hospital nurse in Saigon, Vietnam and as a staff nurse at the U.S. Mission to the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland. She has experience in all aspects of geriatric care in rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities and home health care. Rosemary has first-hand knowledge of all the hospitals in the Sarasota-Bradenton-Venice area and is active in Sarasota and Manatee County professional case manager associations. She also enjoys sharing her insights as a speaker with community associations and public gatherings.
